Victoria Beckham and husband David are seen leaving son Brooklyn’s 21st birthday lunch

They welcomed their eldest son Brooklyn 21 years ago.

And Victoria Beckham and husband David celebrated the milestone event by heading for lunch at Oswald’s private members club in London on Wednesday.

During his birthday dinner Brooklyn, 21, was treated to a huge plate of glazed doughnuts covered in candles, which was seemingly a replacement for a cake.

Following the intimate event, which also included Brooklyn’s actress girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25, Victoria and David were seen heading back to their car.

Victoria, 45, looked typically chic in a lemon yellow turtleneck and a camel coat teamed with a pair of her signature oversized shades as she stepped out.

Meanwhile, David, 44, cut a dapper figure in a grey tweed suit over a brown jumper, which he accessorised with a flat cap and brown leather brogues.

Brooklyn proved to be every inch the gentleman as he escorted Nicola out of the building by holding a large black umbrella over her head.

The photographer looked smart in a two-piece black suit, which he gave a more casual edge by teaming it with a simple white T-shirt underneath.

During the meal Nicola shared a sweet snap of the couple looking cosy at the table, which she captioned: ‘All about u on this special day [heart emoji]’.

Brooklyn was treated to a selection of gifts by his parents on the day, which were beautifully wrapped in personalised gift wrap with his face on.

The star shared a snap of the gifts with the caption: ‘Love you mum and dad.’

The occasion appeared to be an emotional day for parents Victoria and David, who both shared loving tributes to each other to celebrate the day.

David appeared to have sent his wife some flowers with a message which read ’21 years today, love you so much’, which Victoria replied to saying ‘I love u too’. 

Many of Brooklyn’s loved ones shared tributes to Brooklyn on the day, including his girlfriend Nicola. 

Nicola shared two romantic snaps of the pair in which she wished ‘love of my life’ Brooklyn a happy birthday. 

The model, 25, took to the photo sharing site on Wednesday to mark the occasion with snaps of her and her boyfriend, who she has only been dating since October.

She captioned her post: ‘Happy birthday to the love of my life. You have the most beautiful heart I’ve ever known.’ 

Brooklyn replied to this: ‘Can’t wait for our future together ❤️❤️ forever my girl.’

She later posted a snap of them cuddling up, tagging this ‘best morning with the birthday boy’. 

This follows a slew of tributes from the rest of Brooklyn’s nearest and dearest, including parents Victoria and David, who shared heartfelt messages to their eldest son.

The Spice Girl and the footballer shared adorable throwback snaps of Brooklyn on his special day, while revealing just how proud they are of the man the aspiring photographer has become.

Victoria posted a beautiful snap of a then 23-year-old David cradling a newborn Brooklyn in the delivery room.

David, then an emerging football superstar for Manchester United, sported his iconic blonde curtain hairstyle and a white vest as he proudly held his cherubic newborn, who wore a hospital tag on his left ankle. 

The fashion designer wrote: ’21 years ago today the most beautiful soul came into the world and changed our lives forever.

‘Sensitive, sweet, kind and funny, you are our everything. I love you so much. Happy birthday.’

Former England captain David also posted a sweet throwback snap of Brooklyn as a young child on holiday wearing a swimming cap and cracking a huge smile, as he waxed lyrical about his eldest. 

He wrote: ‘Happy 21st to my big boy. what more can I say about you other than you have grown into the most beautiful human being and that makes dad so proud .. 

‘You are kind, passionate and caring and as a father that’s what you want to see in your son… 

‘We have had so many great moments as a father and son together like lifting trophies in all the places that I won them and for me that was always my dream … I love you bust have the most amazing day because u deserve it.’

Next up was Brooklyn’s brother Romeo, 17, who shared a hilarious snap of his brother modelling a beard made of hair extensions with a heartfelt caption.   

He wrote: ‘Happy birthday Brooklyn can’t believe your 21!! Hope you have an amazing day love you.’ 

On the eve of his birthday, Brooklyn cooked dinner for his new girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25, with the actress sharing a video of the star chopping some peppers.

Showing the depth of her feelings for her boyfriend of four months, she captioned the video ‘Love u.’
