The Foreign Commonwealth Office has online advice about the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus in China and elsewhere, including France.
The website advice reads: ‘There is an ongoing outbreak of coronavirus. The virus originated in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China…
‘But cases have been confirmed in other parts of China and in some other countries, including France. You should comply with any additional screening measures put in place by the authorities.’
The first case of coronavirus in Europe was reported in France last month and the first and only death in the country was confirmed on February 15.

Out of 80,000 people who have contracted the condition so far just 13 of them have been in the UK.
The TV legend and his wife Stephanie were joined by their daughters, as they enjoyed the sights of the City Of Love, including a trip to drink champagne on top of the Eiffel Tower and to the swanky Le Cinq restaurant.
Earlier this month, Phillip took to Instagram and appeared on This Morning to confirm he was gay, in news that shocked the nation, as he suffered ‘inner conflict’ and is now ready to ‘celebrate and be proud’ of his sexuality.

Phillip spoke about his battles with keeping his secret and the relief of coming out. Phil met Stephanie when she was a BBC production Assistant and he was working for the BBC Children’s television.
After 27 years of marriage to Steph, he revealed he suffered ‘inner conflict’ and is now ready to ‘celebrate and be proud’ of his sexuality, yet insists he is not thinking about a new relationship.
Speaking about telling his daughters, he said: ‘It wasn’t easy [telling my daughters]. But they are so amazing in their love and support. They jumped up and gave me a hug, a big hug, a long hug…

Tough times: Earlier this month, the TV host took to Instagram and appeared on This Morning to confirm he was gay
‘They hugged Steph and said, ‘It’s OK, this is fine.’ We will always be a family. We’ll always be that. My mum has been on the phone all morning, ‘Hope you’re OK.’ I told her and she said, ‘OK, I don’t care.’ And that’s the same with everyone.’
Speaking about how his mum Pat, 83, reacted: ‘It was the same with my mum, my mum is watching this today…
‘She’s been on the phone this morning – hope you’re OK. I went down to see her, she’s down in Cornwall, and I went down to see her… And I told her and she said “oh, OK, well, I don’t care” – and that’s the same with everyone.’
Asked about a potential new relationship, he said: ‘I don’t think so, I’m not thinking there. I’m doing each day at a time now. This has always been a slow process…

Stunning: Their holiday saw many highlights including a trip to Eiffel Tower and various hot spots while sharing sweet snaps as a family
Open and honest: Phillip was lauded by fans for his candid admission earlier this month
‘There is no fast process after this. This was the day I knew everything was pointed towards. I couldn’t have done it if it hadn’t been you.’
In his original statement announcing he is gay, Phillip wrote: ‘You never know what’s going on in someone’s seemingly perfect life, what issues they are struggling with, or the state of their wellbeing – and so you won’t know what has been consuming me for the last few years…
‘With the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay. This is something that has caused many heart-breaking conversations at home…
I have been married to Steph for nearly 27 years, and we have two beautiful grown-up daughters, Molly and Ruby… My family have held me so close: they have tried to cheer me up, to smother me with kindness and love, despite their own confusion. Yet still I can’t sleep and there have been some very dark moments.
Sweet: The family seemed to be having a fantastic time
‘My inner conflict contrasts with an outside world that has changed so very much for the better. Today, quite rightly, being gay is a reason to celebrate and be proud. Yes, I am feeling pain and confusion, but that comes only from the hurt that I am causing to my family..
‘Steph has been incredible – I love her so very much. She is the kindest soul I have ever met. My girls have been astonishing in their love, hugs and encouraging words of comfort. Both mine and Steph’s entire families have stunned me with their love, instant acceptance and support.
‘Of course they are worried about Steph but I know they will scoop us both us.
‘My friends are the best, especially Holly, who has been so kind and wise – and who has hugged me as I sobbed on her shoulder. At ITV, I couldn’t hope to work with more wonderful, supportive teams…
Supportive: Earlier this month, Phillip revealed he sought advice from a self-help book before coming out as gay
‘Every day on This Morning, I sit in awe of those we meet who have been brave and open in confronting their truth – so now it’s my turn to share mine…
‘This will probably all come as something and I understand, but only by facing this, by being honest, can I hope to find peace in my mind and a way forward. Please be kind, especially to my family. Phillip’.
Earlier this month, Phillip revealed he sought advice from a self-help book before coming out as gay.
Taking to Twitter the following morning, he responded to advice from journalist Dan Wooton, who told him to read The Velvet Rage: Overcoming the Pain of Growing Up Gay in a Straight Man’s World by the American clinical psychologist Alan Downs.
The TV host, 54, responded to Dan’s message by penning: ‘Thank you so much Dan, and I’ve read the book already lol x’.
