Heartless vandals who forced a children’s nursery to close after breaking in and covering it in paint are being hunted by police.
The yobs squirted it all over the walls, carpets, ceiling and even a TV on the wall in the classroom at Arundel Court Primary Academy & Nursery, in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
They also set off fire extinguishers inside causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

The carpets have had to be ripped out and toys thrown away.
The thugs didn’t steal anything from the nursery but it was forced to shut down on Tuesday while the shocking mess and damage was cleared up.
It is still closed on Wednesday.

‘Sadly last night our nursery was broken into and horrifically vandalised causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
The nursery was forced to shut down on Tuesday while the shocking mess and damage was cleared up
The damage caused has meant that the carpets have had to be ripped out and toys thrown away
‘Due to this mindless act, Nursery will be closed tomorrow but hopefully we will put some sort of provision in place for Thursday.
‘If anyone has any information on the break in please contact the school.’
Karen Stocks – headteacher of the nursery and neighbouring Arundel Court Primary School said: ‘We’ve had an overwhelming response, overwhelming support from the community really.
‘I have been in tears most of the day because of the generosity.
‘We’ve got a couple of people coming down later today – it’s just fantastic.
‘It’s great Dunkirk spirit.’

Parents spoke of their shock.
Clare Zammit said: ‘Absolutely shocking best school I know, obviously kids hope they get caught for this so wrong.’
Stephanie Baker added: ‘How could anyone do such a horrible thing to such a lovely school.’
Maggie Moles said: ‘That is awful. If you need any help cleaning up we can come down and help.’
A Hampshire police spokesman said of the breaking in overnight between Monday and yesterday (Tues): ‘Entry was gained overnight, and damage was caused to various items within the site.’
‘Nothing was stolen.’
