Billie Eilish has revealed that her theme to the forthcoming James Bond movie No Time to Die was written in just three days.
The “Bad Guy” singer has written the track with her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas O’Connell.
Speaking to Zane Lowe for an interview with Apple Music, Eilish said “it was honestly like a great process”.
“We got a piece of the script, like the first scene and then wrote the song immediately and we wrote it in three days and we wrote it in Texas and we recorded it in a bunk on the bus, in the basement in the dark.”
The Grammy-winning songwriter also touched on how the commission came about. “Two years ago, we were like, wouldn’t it be crazy to make a song for the Bond movies, and, like, wouldn’t that be dope?” she said.

“No Time to Die” was released on Spotify and Apple Music yesterday to strong reviews.
The film, which sees Daniel Craig reprise the role of James Bond for the final time, will be out in cinemas 3 April.
